Job summary

Akima Technical Solutions (ATS) is seeking a Maintenance Test Pilot for MH-47G operations at Fort Campbell North. The role involves maintenance test flights, functional tests, and maintenance operational checks on MH-47G series aircraft, using ground and in-flight diagnostic equipment.

On-site status with CONUS travel as needed. The candidate must be qualified in MH-47G/CH-47F, hold a valid FAA instrument rating and Class 2 medical, possess US citizenship, and be able to obtain an Active Secret

Qualifications

Qualified in MH-47G or CH-47F MDS aircraft.
PIC time ≥1,000 hours, with ≥100 hours in MH-47G/CH-47F.
≥50 hours as Maintenance Test Pilot on MH-47G/CH-47F.
DA Form 759 and flight records to prove currency/ratings.
Waiver may be required for CH-47F ratings; MH-47G course of instruction required.
Graduates of AMOC I and II course; FAA Class 2 Flight Physical; instrument rating.

Responsibilities

Proficient in flying operations of assigned rotary wing helicopters.
Demonstrate instrument task proficiency on annual flight evaluation by detachment evaluators.
Undergo annual flight evaluation by an Instructor Pilot and MTFE.
Ensure ATM tasks required for assigned flight duties are accomplished (non-tactical base tasks).
