Job summary

Truist Financial Corporation seeks a seasoned Premier Banking Relationship Manager to lead a mass affluent portfolio, delivering a broad suite of banking, mortgage, planning, investments and insurance services. You will leverage Truist's referral network to acquire and retain clients while providing exceptional service.

The role requires a strong grasp of personal financial planning, advisory concepts and cross-functional collaboration with IRM partners to ensure a seamless client experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance, banking or equivalent financial services experience and related training.
• Minimum of five years of financial services experience with banking, investments, and/or retail lending or one year in a financial client relationship manager role.
• Advanced knowledge of personal financial planning/advisory/insurance and investment management concepts for mass affluent clients.
• Active FINRA licenses (SIE, Series 7, 66 or 63/65) and applicable Insurance licenses; SAFE Mortgage Licensing Act compliance required.
• Strong interpersonal, sales and relationship management skills.
• Strong written, verbal and presentation skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary relationship manager for a portfolio of mass affluent clients; sell, deliver, and service a broad range of retail banking products.
• Understand client financial needs and provide personal financial planning analysis; coordinate with financial advisor on investments.
• Keep abreast of market trends and act as a financial planning resource for clients, attorneys and CPAs.
• Meet revenue growth, profitability, and retention goals by developing new clients and expanding services.
• Collaborate with IRM partners to deliver integrated banking, mortgage, planning, investments and insurance services.
• Build relationships with external centers of influence to support business development.
• Operate within audit, compliance, and regulatory guidelines to maintain a compliant portfolio.
• Contribute to Premier Banking program development and processes.
