Job summary

Green Office Partner is seeking a Senior Field Engineer to deliver expert electromechanical service for enterprise print systems in the Chicagoland area. You will be the primary field escalation, performing complex repairs and advanced color calibration on Xerox Versant, Iridesse, and Nuvera platforms.

You will configure DFEs, troubleshoot networks, and ensure uptime across critical accounts while mentoring mid-level technicians.

Qualifications

• Active Xerox Production Color/Mono certifications or OEM status as an Authorized Service Provider.
• 5–8+ years in field service for high-volume digital print machinery.
• Strong paper-path physics, high-voltage fuser, and laser scanning knowledge.
• Proficient networking skills (TCP/IP, Active Directory, LDAP).
• Excellent communication under production-down pressure.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced electromechanical repairs and preventive maintenance on high-volume presses.
• Configure DFEs and calibrate EFI Fiery controllers and Pantone matching workflows.
• Troubleshoot enterprise network bottlenecks and secure protocols, diagnose faults.
• Support PaperCut MF and Equitrac integrations for managed print environments.
• Coordinate parts and routing through the local branch; mentor junior techs.
• Conduct field ride-alongs and validate technician competencies.
