Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Explosive Detection Canine (K9) Handler to partner with a trained K9 and conduct searches at client sites including corporate buildings, loading docks, and delivery vehicles. This role requires dedicated canine experience and a willingness to train and work with security teams.

You will operate under the Enhanced Protection Services banner, with paid training and a competitive hourly pay rate.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Licensing requirements subject to state/local laws and regulations; may be required prior to employment.
• Minimum two years in military, law enforcement, or corrections.

Responsibilities

• Partner with a trained Explosive Detection K9 to conduct searches at client sites, including corporate buildings and loading docks.
• Assist and liaise with security personnel and local partners per post orders.
• Train the Explosive Detection K9 daily and ensure safety and welfare of the dog.
• Adhere to all regulatory protocols and required technology.
