Job summary

Nation Security Services LLC seeks professional, motivated Security K9 Handlers who own and operate their own trained Explosive Detection Canine (EDC). You will support protective operations across ports, cargo facilities, stadiums, large venues, and executive protection deployments.

Handlers work within an integrated security team, maintain canine welfare and training logs, and ensure compliance with all policies and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen or national.
• Own and operate a trained Explosive Detection Canine (EDC).
• Pass background investigation and drug screening.
• Able to obtain and maintain required security clearances.
• Read, write and speak English fluently.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel.

Responsibilities

• Conduct proactive explosive detection screening at ports, cargo facilities, vessels, stadiums and events.
• Operate independently and within a coordinated security team.
• Maintain canine welfare, housing and welfare for your canine team.
• Keep training logs, deployment records and operational documentation current.
• Comply with company policies, client requirements and regulatory standards.
• Maintain professional appearance, conduct, and demeanor at all times.
• Adapt to changing mission requirements and schedules; travel as required.
