Job summary

Global K9 Protection Group LLC is seeking a dedicated Explosive Detection K9 Handler to support screening operations using a trained canine. Responsibilities include maintaining records and caring for the dogs, both administrative and welfare tasks, as part of a security team.

Candidate must meet U.S. citizenship requirements, pass TSA assessments, hold a high school diploma or GED, and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills for independent and team work within a production environment.

Qualifications

• Requires citizenship or national status of the United States.
• Requires ability to pass TSA Security Threat Assessment.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license (Real ID) and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Conduct screening operations for explosive and other hazardous materials with a trained Explosive Detection Canine.
• Maintain administrative records for work and training.
• Oversee housing, care, maintenance and welfare of assigned canines.
• Maintain professional relationships with employees and external agencies.
