Job summary

The Birmingham-Jefferson Convention Complex (BJCC) is seeking a Public Safety Ambassador to patrol the facility, enforce rules, assist guests, and respond to emergencies. This full-time role focuses on maintaining a safe and enjoyable environment for performers, staff, and visitors.

Ideal candidates bring at least 3 years in security or law enforcement, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid Alabama driver license.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in security, military or law enforcement, with one (1) year face-to-face customer service experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or G.E.D. is required.
• Valid State of Alabama Driver License.

Responsibilities

• Patrol assigned area to enforce venue rules and ensure safety.
• Provide proactive guest service by answering questions courteously.
• Respond to emergencies and assist with evacuations.
• Maintain post orders and communicate with Security Command.
