Job summary

Barnsley Resort in Adairsville, GA is seeking an energetic Meeting and Special Events Coordinator to support the planning and execution of weddings, conferences, galas, and more. You will collaborate with the event sales team, handle administrative tasks, and help turn guests' dreams into memorable experiences.

The role emphasizes detailed organization, proactive communication, and exceptional service to ensure flawless events and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of front office, reservations, sales or catering experience.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Valid driver's license where applicable.
• Ability to communicate effectively with the public and team members.

Responsibilities

• Administrative support to Conference Services Managers and Wedding Managers.
• Distribute BEOs and resumes weekly and daily.
• Prepare planning visit site forms for Conference Services and Wedding Managers.
• Attend planning/site visits and pre-convention meetings as needed.
• Create and distribute event orders; support on-site events.
• Maintain filing and organize documents for internal meetings.
• Greet visitors and handle service/sales/catering inquiries.
• Coordinate VIP amenities and VIP communications.
• Log and archive notes from meetings and contracts.
