Job summary

VEG ER for Pets in New Jersey seeks an Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join our front-line team delivering high-quality, compassionate care in emergencies. You will assist in triage, treatments, anesthesia, diagnostics, and critical care while supporting pet-parents during stressful moments.

You bring 1+ year experience as a veterinary technician, AVMA-accredited training, and CVT/RVT/LVT credentials. Night/weekend shifts and a fast-paced environment are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; AVMA-accredited program preferred.
• Credentialed Veterinary Technician (CVT/RVT/LVT) in the state of practice required; VTS a plus.
• 1+ year experience in veterinary technician role; emergency or specialty preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care and support across triage, treatments, diagnostics, anesthesia, and critical care.
• Assist doctors, monitor patients, and communicate clearly with teammates and pet-parents.
• Handle medications, IVs, monitoring, and advanced procedures as trained.
