Job summary

Reyes Fleet Management in Enfield, CT is seeking a Diesel Mechanic / Fleet Technician B to service our tractor and trailer equipment. The role covers inspections, repairs and preventive maintenance at our brand-new Martin Brower shop.

The position offers a Full-Time shift 2:00pm-10:30pm with pay ranging $30.00-33.00/hr based on experience, plus a robust benefits package including health, dental, vision, 401(k), life insurance, and incentive programs for ASE/CDL credentials.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED with 2+ years of related experience.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Must possess own tools.
Valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record per DOT regulations to operate company vehicles.
Ability to frequently lift/push/pull weights over 50 lbs (up to 100 lbs occasionally).

Responsibilities

Inspect, repair and perform routine preventive maintenance on fleet equipment.
Document repairs and maintenance in AssetWorks with parts used and work performed.
Inspect vehicles and fleet equipment.
Learn and assist diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems.
Adhere to DOT, OSHA and Reyes Fleet Management safety policies and use PPE and tools properly.
Other projects or duties as assigned.
