Job summary

Omni Hotels & Resorts in Atlanta seeks a Senior Convention Services Manager to coordinate all facets of conferences/events from planning to on-site execution. You will liaise between planners, clients, and hotel operations, ensuring flawless communication and service quality.

The role requires leadership in front-facing guest service, time management, and expertise in large-scale exhibits, drayage, and production coordination. On-site availability includes weekends and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in conference services, preferably as manager at a large convention hotel.
• Professional appearance and presentation.
• Strong computer skills: MS Word, Salesforce FDC/Delphi, Excel, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate with customers to maximize revenue and fulfill contractual responsibilities.
• Obtain event details (specs, AV, rooming lists, F&B) 60 days prior to arrival.
• Optimize and maximize function space for guest experience and financials.
• Produce and distribute accurate group resumes, BEOs, and diagrams to departments.
