Terranea Resort seeks a Conference Services Manager to oversee all aspects of conference planning, coordinating menus, services, and budgets for client events at the resort in Rancho Palos Verdes, CA. The role requires coordinating with the culinary, sales, and event teams to deliver seamless functions.

Responsibilities include managing function orders, ensuring guest satisfaction, leading staff, and maintaining high standards of service and safety across event operations.

Qualifikationen

• Previous experience as a Conference/Convention Services Manager or Event Planning Manager, preferably with a 4-5 Diamond/Star Hotel.
• Knowledge of menu development and restaurant/catering operations.
• Fluency in English both, verbal and non-verbal.
• Familiarity with Sales and Marketing tools and cost controls.

Aufgaben

• Coordinate details and menus for clients' functions and maintain budgeted revenues through solicitation of business while controlling expenditures.
• Input and access information in the property management systems and ensure timely electronic processing.
• Meet with clients to finalize function details and escort them through the property to highlight services and facilities.
• Review Banquet Event Orders, guarantees, and billing to ensure accuracy and guest satisfaction.
• Supervise staff performance, ensure policy compliance, and maximize guest experience.
