Job summary

Terranea Resort in Rancho Palos Verdes, CA is seeking a Restaurant Supervisor to lead daily service in a high‑volume, luxury setting. You will supervise, train and inspect the performance of restaurant staff while maintaining Terranea's standard of excellence.

Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with policies, managing guest interactions, coordinating staff schedules, and supporting the chef with daily specials and service readiness.

Qualifications

• State food handler and RBS certification required.
• High school graduate or equivalent vocational training certificate.
• Certification of previous training in liquor, wine and food service.
• Previous Culinary training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of departmental policies and service procedures.
• Anticipate guests’ needs and respond promptly.
• Resolve guest complaints to ensure satisfaction.
• Monitor cleanliness and organization of work areas.
• Organize and direct staff in setup, service, and breakdown of hospitalities.
