Terranea Resort seeks a Conference Services Manager to oversee all aspects of conference planning, coordinating client menus and maintaining revenues while controlling expenditures. Duties include managing staff, ensuring service standards, and collaborating with the executive chef for special event menus.

The role requires prior manager experience in a 4-5 Diamond hotel, strong English communication, and proficiency with banquet operations and client relations.

Qualificações

• Previous experience as a Conference/Convention Services Manager or Event Planning Manager, preferably with a 4-5 Diamond/Star Hotel.
• Knowledge of menu development.
• Fluency in English both, verbal and non-verbal.
• Provide legible communication.
• Familiarity with food and beverage cost controls.
• Familiarity with Sales and Marketing tools.
• Salesforce/Delphi experience preferred.
• Ability to: perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy.
• ability to prioritize and organize.
• be a clear thinker, remaining calm and resolving problems using good judgement.
• follow directions thoroughly.
• understand guest’s service needs.
• work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate details and menus for clients' functions and maintain budgeted revenues through solicitation of business while controlling expenditures.
• Input and access information in the property management system.
• Maintain knowledge of departmental policies and services; ensure guest satisfaction.
• Review Banquet events and maintain accurate function details and charges.
• Meet with clients to plan functions and escort them through the property to showcase services.
• Ensure proper staffing and adherence to safety, grooming, and service standards.
• Monitor billing procedures and ensure timely payment processing.
• Collaborate with Chef for menu planning and special requests.
• Foster teamwork and maximize productivity while managing costs.
