Job summary

Whaley Foodservice, LLC seeks a Service Technician II to maintain, service, and repair commercial cooking equipment and refrigeration systems across the Southeast. This role requires diagnosing and repairing grills, fryers, ovens, ice machines, reach-in and walk-in coolers, freezers, and related systems, with emphasis on safety and quality service.

The technician will communicate status updates, manage parts orders, audit truck stock, and meet on-call requirements while upholding Whaley's safety

Qualifications

• Three years of experience in commercial kitchen repair and or refrigeration.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Completion of a satisfactory background check and drug screen is required.
• Valid Driver's license and driving record that aligns with safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses, troubleshoots, and repairs commercial kitchen equipment and refrigeration.
• Communicates status updates for parts orders and repairs with branch support and customer.
• Completes service calls accurately and timely.
• Audits truck stock to ensure required parts are stocked.
• Ensures service vehicle, tools, and uniforms meet Whaley safety standards.
• Meets on-call requirements.
