Restaurant Associates is seeking a Sr. Catering Manager to oversee the execution of catering events for a premier NYC client account.

The role coordinates sales, event orders, scheduling and staff training, ensuring timely delivery, setup, cleanup, and accurate invoicing for daily events. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in leading complex catering operations, delivering exceptional client service and operational excellence under pressure.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of hospitality experience, including 2 years in catering management
• Proven track record leading high-volume catering operations
• Strong leadership and client-service skills

Responsibilities

• Work with Food Service Director and Executive Chef on menu proposals
• Coordinate scheduling and communications for events
• Train and schedule catering staff with a focus on service quality
• Ensure room setups and special requests are executed
• Develop menus in collaboration with chefs and vendors
• Manage budgets and financial targets for events
