Job summary

Valor Hospitality is seeking a Banquet Captain at Hilton College Station to supervise banquet staff, ensure flawless setup and service, and manage post-event duties. The role requires strong leadership, English communication, and physical stamina for long events.

You will coordinate with culinary teams, confirm BEO details, and maintain guest satisfaction while upholding high standards of hospitality. The position offers competitive pay, daily pay options, and a benefits package including

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent experience.
• Ability to read, speak and understand English.
• Physically able to lift 20–40 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Strong guest service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise banquet staff during functions and oversee service and breakdown.
• Check Banquet Event Orders and room setup to ensure accuracy.
• Coordinate between Culinary and Banquet teams during events and handle changes.
• Compile and post banquet checks and ensure correct charges.
• Ensure paperwork is completed (Captain’s Consumption Sheets, Reports).
• Prepare event areas, sign-in sheets, and final cleanup; recap daily checks.
