Job summary

EOS IT Solutions is seeking an AV Technician to support Tier 2 video conferencing equipment and provide ongoing technical support for in-room VC systems. The role emphasizes resolving issues, maintaining 99% uptime, and acting as the primary on-site point of contact for VC problems.

The ideal candidate will possess Cisco/AV hardware knowledge, strong customer service skills, and the ability to train Tier 1 technicians while supporting events and new office deployments.

Qualifications

• Ability to be self-motivated and accountable in a fast-pace, independent environment.
• Ability to think creatively as well as methodically regarding technical issues.
• Knowledge of Cisco, Crestron, Extron, Shure, Clearone, and other AV/VC hardware and signal flow.

Responsibilities

• Primary on-site technician with the knowledge to fix 99% of issues in rooms.
• Daily monitoring and resolution of VC room alerts for executive spaces.
• Escalation point for AV/VC needs beyond Tier 1 capabilities.
• Tier 2 event support for in-person, hybrid, and virtual events (Zoom).
• Assisting with new builds, asset management, commissioning and testing as needed.
• Support for broadcast events, live productions, video switching, A1, streaming.
