Job summary

The Boyd Group is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver an exceptional customer experience through meticulous assessment and quality repair of each customer’s vehicle to restore it to pre-accident condition. You’ll disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles while maintaining speed, quality and customer excellence.

The role requires performing chassis realignment, replacement of damaged parts, welding and repainting to factory specs, and inspecting work to ensure standards are met.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Completion of a technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship is preferred.
• Ability to read job orders with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work with other repairers in a busy auto body shop.
• Strong understanding of vehicle body repair methods and tools.

Responsibilities

• Plan repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles to pre-accident condition.
• Realign chassis and frames to fix structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections with new/aftermarket parts; repair glass.
• Weld, fit parts, and repaint to factory specifications.
• Inspect completed work and ensure adherence to labor time guidelines.
