Job summary

The Boyd Group is seeking an Auto Body Technician in Grand Prairie, TX to restore vehicles to pre-accident condition with meticulous repairs and quality workmanship.

You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles, collaborating with team members to meet KPIs while upholding the brand promise of speed, quality and customer excellence. You’ll receive a competitive salary and benefits and have empowerment and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program OR 3-year apprenticeship required.
• Experience in auto body repair is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Plan repair work and prepare customer cost estimates; use cutting tools and tools to repair sections of a vehicle.
• Hammer dents and apply filler resins to repair minor dents when feasible.
• Realign car chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections with new or aftermarket parts; repair glass and interior parts as needed.
• Weld and fit parts; prep and repaint vehicles to factory specs or equivalents.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect vehicles after repair.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
