Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in High Point, NC is seeking an Auto Body Technician to perform precise repairs and deliver an outstanding customer experience. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles to pre-accident condition using cutting guns, plasma cutters, jacks, and related tools while upholding speed, quality and safety.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, or completion of a technical program or a 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair, with strong teamwork

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical program or 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair preferred.
• Ability to read job orders and work with little supervision.
• Solid understanding of auto body repair methods.
• Ability to safely operate tools in a noisy shop environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan repairs and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles to pre-accident condition.
• Weld, replace parts, and repaint as needed per specs.
• Inspect vehicles to ensure repair quality and KPI targets.
• Collaborate with teammates to meet labor time guidelines.
