Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in Littleton, CO is seeking an Auto Body Technician to restore vehicles to pre-accident condition while delivering an exceptional customer experience. The role involves meticulous disassembly, repair, and reassembly, aligning chassis and replacing parts to meet quality KPIs.

You will also weld, repaint, inspect finished work, and ensure safety. A high school diploma and technical training or apprenticeship are required; strong teamwork and tool proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Technical school program completed OR a 3-year apprenticeship as auto body repairer.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW plan.
• Plan the repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers; use cutting tools, plasma cutters, jacks, hammers, pliers.
• Hammer out dents and apply filler resins when needed.
• Realign car chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections with new or aftermarket parts; repair glass and windshields.
• Repair interior parts as needed.
• Welds and fits parts; repaint vehicles with factory-specified paint or equivalent.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines; inspect vehicles after repair.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
