Job summary

Constellis is seeking an armed security professional to join the team at St. Elizabeth's in Washington, DC. You will staff security posts, protect personnel and property, and assist in a Control Center as needed.

This is a union position and requires compliance with strict post orders and safety procedures. Responsibilities include screening visitors, patrols, alarms, and emergency response. A valid US citizenship or permanent residency and active NREMT license are required, with appropriate

Qualifications

• Must be a US citizen or a Lawful Permanent Resident with service in the US Armed Forces.
• Active NREMT license.
• Two years security (armed) experience or five years honorable service in any US Armed forces.
• Minimum 21 years of age and able to pass medical, physical, drug and background checks.
• Fluent English reading and writing; able to produce coherent reports.

Responsibilities

• Screen and process visitors efficiently.
• Identify, report, delay or detain rule-violating individuals.
• Conduct internal/external roving patrols and traffic control.
• Maintain detection capabilities on security equipment and alarms.
• Respond to emergencies and assist with first aid as needed.
• Communicate via two-way radio or company cell phone.
• Follow post orders and company procedures; wear protective gear and stay fit.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

60 college credits or related field

Federal/state law enforcement training
