Qualifications

• US citizen with social security card.
• Minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must have PA Act 235 Lethal Weapons Training Certification.
• Two years armed security or equivalent military/police training.
• Meet medical, physical, and psychological standards as per contract.
• Background screening and US Government suitability requirements.
• Position may require ability to acquire and maintain a security clearance.
• Completion of Protective Security Officer Training and certification.

Responsibilities

• Protect personnel and property in a professional manner.
• Meet and deal tactfully with general public and visitors.
• Screen and process visitors efficiently.
• Identify, report, delay or detain persons violating rules.
• Conduct internal and external roving foot patrols.
• Maintain detection rate on x-ray machines where required.
• Detect and respond to alarms and emergencies.
• Secure entrances and exits during emergencies.
• Communicate via two-way radio or company cell phone.
• Comply with all company post orders, plans, policies, procedures.
• Observe and report offenses/incidents.
• Complete reports and paperwork as required.
• Provide first aid, CPR, and assist during emergencies.
• Wear protective body armor as part of duty uniform.
• Maintain training and physical fitness requirements.
