Job summary

Mohegan Sun is looking for a Rigging Technician responsible for the operation and maintenance of staging and rigging equipment for entertainment events. Candidates must be skilled in performing load in, set-up, and safety operations at heights over 60 feet.

With at least three years of experience in this field and a strong background in theatrical carpentry, successful applicants will have good communication skills and be able to lift 75 lbs. The position offers flexibility in shift hours.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience with theatrical staging and rigging equipment.
• Experience with rigging in an arena environment.
• Must be able to work at 60 feet or more.
• Experience in theatrical carpentry.

Responsibilities

• Perform the load in, set-up, operation and maintenance of staging and rigging.
• Unload trucks and set up touring production elements.
• Inspect and maintain chain hoist inventory.
• Assist with training programs.
