Job summary

LMR Technical Group is seeking a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist to optimize mobility aircrew performance at Joint Base Charleston, SC. The role focuses on injury prevention, performance enhancement, and MSK strengthening within a military context.

Responsibilities include conducting evaluations, developing individualized programs, and advising unit commanders on fitness strategies while maintaining safety and collaboration with medical personnel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HumanPerformance, Kinesiology, ExerciseScience, or related field.
• 2+ years of full-time experience as a Strength & Conditioning Specialist in collegiate (or higher), professional, or tactical athletics.
• NSCA CSCS or CSCCa and SCCC certification; CPR and AED certification.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial evaluations and assessments for mobility aircrew; develop IPs focused on neck and back conditioning.
• Guide IP implementation aligned with performance objectives and injury-prevention strategies.
• Serve as a human performance advisor to unit commanders; provide recommendations on SOPs and fitness protocols.
• Stay current on injury prevention, strength, conditioning, and rehab techniques; update equipment and regimens as needed.
• Maintain open communication with aircrew and leadership regarding performance, injury risks, and medical coordination.
