Job summary

LMR Technical Group seeks a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist to provide injury prevention and performance enhancement for mobility aircrew at Joint Base Charleston, SC. You will assess, program, and maintain MSK health to maximize warfighting capability.

Responsibilities include developing individualized programs, guiding implementation, and collaborating with medical and leadership teams to optimize performance while ensuring safety and adherence to security requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Performance, Kinesiology, Exercise Science, or a related field.
• NSCA CSCS or CSCCa and SCCC certifications are required.
• Current CPR and AED certification is required.
• U.S. citizen with ability to obtain Secret clearance (T3 background).

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial evaluations and develop IPs for mobility aircrew.
• Guide IP implementation aligning with performance objectives and aircrew healthcare plan.
• Advise unit commanders on injury prevention, SOPs, and fitness program protocols.
• Monitor new developments in injury prevention, strength and conditioning, and rehabilitation.
• Maintain safe training environments and proper equipment usage.
• Document all assessments and performance data within 3 business days and contribute to HP-MER.
