Job summary

West Star Aviation Inc. is seeking an Interior Technician in East Alton, IL to work on sophisticated private aircraft interiors, including carpeting, insulation, and electrical tasks.

You will perform assemblies, repairs, and modifications under the Interior Team Leader, with a focus on quality and safety. The role requires a high school diploma, valid driver's license or passport is ideal, and the ability to read reports and blueprints.

Qualifications

• A High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must be able to read and interpret manuals and blueprints.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced aviation environment with safety in mind.

Responsibilities

• Perform general mechanical work on aircraft interiors and related systems.
• Perform minor modifications with minimal direction.
• Maintain turnover sheets, work orders, and weight and balance data.
• Maintain shop facilities and tooling; keep the area clean and safe.
• Communicate clearly in English and follow FAA guidelines.
