Job summary

West Star Aviation Inc. is seeking an Interior Support Technician on 2nd shift at East Alton, IL. You will work on sophisticated private aircraft interiors, including installation/removal of carpeting, insulation, and fabric accessories, plus basic electrical work and refurbishments.

The role requires reading blueprints, following FAA guidelines, and maintaining shop safety. A high school diploma and valid driver’s license are preferred; overtime and weekend shifts may apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; valid driver’s license ideal but not required.
• Ability to read various reports and blueprints.
• Understand and follow FAA guidelines and safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Perform general mechanical tasks on aircraft interiors and related systems.
• Carry out minor modifications with minimal direction.
• Maintain shop and equipment; manage weight and balance data as required.
• Communicate clearly in English and work with supervision.
