Halifax County Government is seeking a dedicated Eligibility Specialist to determine initial and ongoing eligibility for clients applying to Energy Programs such as CIP and LIEAP. The role may also support Medicaid and Food and Nutrition programs as needed, using interviews and document review to gather necessary information in NCFAST.

You will conduct client interviews, review applications, ensure compliance with policy, and collaborate with colleagues to deliver dependable service for families

Qualificações

• Associate degree or two years paraprofessional/clerical/ public contact experience with income maintenance exposure.
• Experience in interviewing, data gathering and data analysis is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Determine initial and ongoing eligibility for CIP, LIEAP, Medicaid and Food & Nutrition programs.
• Review client applications and gather needed information for processing.
• Conduct client interviews and work within the NCFAST system.
• Ensure compliance with training, policy and eligibility requirements.
