Job summary

Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) invites applications for an Eligibility Advisor I - Temporary position in PAMPA, TX. You will work in AES to assess eligibility for SNAP, TANF, and Medicaid by interviewing applicants and validating information.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Sixty (60) semester hours from an accredited college/university preferred.
• One year of customer service experience with public contact required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interview applicants and recipients in person or by calls to determine financial eligibility.
• Evaluate data from various sources to enter information into an eligibility system.
• Compute and authorize benefits based on eligibility determinations.
• Process work in accordance with state and federal regulations and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
