Eastern Elevator, part of American Elevator Group (AEG), is seeking an Administrative Testing Coordinator for our Windber, PA office to ensure elevator testing and inspections are completed accurately, safely, and on schedule. You will coordinate with field mechanics, inspectors, customers, municipalities, and internal operations teams.

This role requires 2+ years in the elevator industry, strong organizational skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years in elevator industry (testing, service, inspections, or operations) preferred.
• Knowledge of elevator testing and inspection requirements preferred.
• Familiarity with local/state elevator codes and AHJ requirements preferred.
• Strong organizational and scheduling skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate all required elevator testing and inspections, including scheduling with customers, mechanics, inspectors, and AHJs.
• Maintain an accurate testing schedule and ensure all tests are completed within deadlines.
• Coordinate annual, periodic, acceptance, and other required elevator testing.
• Track testing results, deficiencies, violations, and required repairs through completion.
• Communicate testing requirements, schedules, and results to customers and internal teams.
• Coordinate mechanics and subcontractors needed to complete testing and corrective work.
• Ensure documentation, test reports, inspection reports, and certificates are completed and stored accurately.
• Monitor upcoming deadlines and identify potential scheduling conflicts or compliance issues.
• Follow up on failed tests and outstanding repairs to ensure timely resolution and retesting.
