Job summary

Eastern Elevator, part of American Elevator Group, seeks an Administrative Testing Coordinator in Windber, PA to manage elevator testing, inspections, and scheduling. You will work with field mechanics, inspectors, customers, and AHJs to ensure tests are completed on time and documented accurately.

Candidates should have a high school diploma and 2+ years in the elevator industry, with strong organizational and communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2+ years in elevator-related testing/inspections preferred.
• Familiarity with elevator testing and AHJ requirements preferred.
• Strong organizational and scheduling abilities are essential.
• Excellent written and verbal communication is required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate elevator testing and inspections with customers, mechanics, inspectors, and AHJs.
• Maintain an accurate testing schedule and ensure tests are completed by deadlines.
• Track results, deficiencies, violations, and required repairs through completion.
• Prepare and submit testing reports, inspection reports, and certificates.
• Escalate delays, compliance concerns, or safety issues to management.
