All mechanics are certified through The National Elevator Industry Program (NEIEP), and apprentice mechanics are actively enrolled in NEIEP while gaining practical experience.

Role Description

The Inspections/Parts Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Baltimore, MD. This role is responsible for scheduling and tracking inspections, coordinating with technicians and customers, and ensuring all inspection documentation is accurate and complete. The parts coordinator manages parts ordering and inventory control, verifies availability of parts for scheduled work, and follows up on backorders and deliveries. Day-to-day tasks include responding to customer inquiries, updating service records, collaborating with field staff and management, and supporting efficient workflows. The role requires consistent, professional communication with team members, vendors, and customers to support safe and reliable elevator operations.

Qualifications

• Strong Communication and Customer Service skills, with a focus on Customer Satisfaction.
• Experience with Inventory Control and Parts Ordering in a service or technical environment.
• Ability to organize schedules, track inspections, and maintain accurate records.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced office supporting field technicians and service teams.
• Basic proficiency with office software (e.g., email, spreadsheets, service management systems).
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills for handling parts, logistics, and documentation.
• Prior experience in elevator, mechanical, or construction-related industries is beneficial.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or administrative training is a plus.
