Qualifications

• Reading and interpreting plans and specs to prepare contract administration documentation.
• Trade-specific code inspections on elevator/lift equipment.
• Detect defects and recommend remedial measures per jurisdictional requirements.
• Prepare estimates of extra work and related sketches.
• Review plans for constructability and provide comments.
• Review contractor payment requests and provide comments to the Resident Engineer/PM.
• Oversee testing, commissioning, and startup of mechanical systems.
• Ensure functionality of pumps, compressors, piping, and safety systems.
• Identify discrepancies and coordinate corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret plans and specs and prepare written contract administration documentation such as daily narratives, special inspection reports, daily time and material records.
• Perform code inspections on elevator/lift equipment across project phases.
• Detect defects and coordinate remedial actions with stakeholders.
• Prepare estimates of extra work and related sketches.
• Review plans for constructability and provide comments.
• Review contractor payment requests and provide comments.
• Oversee testing, commissioning, and startup of mechanical systems.
• Ensure proper functionality of building systems including pumps and ventilation.
• Identify discrepancies and coordinate corrective actions.
