Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
5+ years of design and drafting in mechanical design environment.
Experience working in a team.
Experience in product development.
Knowledge of mechanics, physics, statics and dynamics.
Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

Designs, implements, and manages development and support of mechanical elevator systems and subsystems.
Defines requirements and parameters of elevator design in documentation.
Verifies and validates elevator design through analysis and testing.
Collaborates with cross-functional teams during product development and support.
Applies elevator codes and standards in design work.
Develops and maintains templates, calculation sheets, and references.
