Job summary

Otis Elevator Company is seeking a highly motivated Manager, Service Operations to join our Salt Lake City team. This role leads a team of maintenance mechanics and oversees daily elevator service operations, route performance, and customer needs.

You will mentor field staff, promote safety, manage schedules and resources, and partner with customers to deliver a premium service experience while leveraging Otis systems to optimize performance.

Qualifications

• Elevator industry experience required; 1–2 years of elevator knowledge.
• High school education required; BA/BS preferred or equivalent work experience.
• Working knowledge of elevator terminology and industry operations.
• Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to collaborate with field employees, customers, and business partners.
• Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Comfort working across multiple programs, systems, and technology platforms.
• Ability to manage changing priorities in a fast-paced service environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of maintenance mechanics across the assigned service territory.
• Promote a strong safety culture and reinforce safe work practices throughout field operations.
• Manage day-to-day elevator service and maintenance operations, including routes, labor, materials, schedules, and priorities.
• Coach, support, and develop field employees to promote strong team performance.
• Partner with customers to understand their needs, address concerns, and deliver a positive service experience.
• Monitor route efficiency, callbacks, repair activity, and service performance.
• Coordinate repair needs and follow through on completion.
• Provide operational and technical support to field teams.
• Balance multiple priorities across employees, customers, and field operations.
• Use business systems and technology to effectively manage service activities and communication.
