Job summary

thyssenkrupp Elevator is seeking a Superintendent- Service in Wichita, KS to oversee service operations, ensure cost-effective performance and safe, high-quality work on elevator systems. You will supervise现场 activities, assist mechanics, and coordinate with other teams to uphold safety and reliability.

The role requires strong leadership, clear communication, and a valid driver’s license, with a focus on improving service profitability and adherence to industry codes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent management experience.
• Ability to write reports, proposals and business correspondence.
• Ability to present information clearly to management and customers.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
• Requires a valid driver’s license and a satisfactory MVR.

Responsibilities

• Visits job sites and conducts quality audits to ensure efficient, cost-effective route work.
• Performs NIM audits within 15 days of turnover and identifies issues affecting reliability.
• Assist mechanics with jobs and provide on-the-job training.
• Review route profitability using accounting reports and report findings to management.
• Participate in safety training and ensure compliance with codes.
