Job summary

Schindler Group in Jacksonville, FL, is hiring a New Installations Sales Representative. The role focuses on identifying opportunities, coordinating with architects and general contractors, and preparing estimates and presentations to win sales.

You will learn design basics, budgeting, and scheduling to drive successful installations. The position requires a bachelor’s degree or 3+ years in industry sales, with preference for elevator or B2B sales experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or minimum of 3 years of industry sales experience.
• Elevator industry or business to business sales experience is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, Lotus Notes and SAP is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Meet and/or exceed assigned sales and customer objectives.
• Analyze customer needs and secure desirable business through application of company products and services.
• Maintain favorable client relationships.
• Assess and follow customer complaints to satisfactory resolution.
• Communicate necessary information to customer and internal operations to ensure satisfaction and achieve sales cost objectives.
• Develop negotiating strategies with minimal monitoring by management.
• Plan, develop and implement sales strategies on specific negotiations aligned with product strategy and customer requirements.
