Job summary

ADP, Inc. in Conover, NC is seeking an Elevator Operator responsible for loading/unloading the elevator, keeping the hardware boxes organized and returned with furniture. You will perform duties safely, report hazards, wear safety glasses and shoes, and maintain a neat workstation, while following supervisor instructions. English literacy is required to read tickets.

This role involves lifting 50–100 lbs repeatedly and working an 8+ hour shift in an indoor environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and write, count, lift and stoop.
• Must be familiar with and have operational knowledge of department tools.
• English required for reading tickets and instructions.

Responsibilities

• Load/unload the elevator with casegoods.
• Perform all duties safely and report any safety hazards to your immediate supervisor; including techniques for grounding / bonding where needed
• Complete other assigned duties as directed by supervisor.
• Maintains neat and orderly work station; keeps equipment clean.
• Wear required safety glasses and work shoes; works safely and reports unsafe conditions to Dept. Supervisor. Also performs required stretching exercises.
• Performs other duties as required by supervisor.
