Job summary

ADP, Inc. in Morganton, NC is seeking an Unpacker to assist with unloading casegoods from trucks, staging items, and preparing furniture for counts.

You will move furniture using hand trucks, pallet jacks, or team lifts, wrap pieces, and maintain a clean, safe workstation. English literacy required; prior packing/unpacking knowledge preferred.

This on-site role emphasizes safe lifting, teamwork, and adherence to instructions while supporting warehouse operations.

Qualifications

• Must be knowledgeable in prep, pack and trim processes.
• Must have ability to recognize parts and style numbers.
• English required for reading tickets and instructions.
• Must be able to understand and follow unpacking specifications.

Responsibilities

• Unload casegoods containers.
• Unload furniture from truck using hand truck, pallet jack, or team lift.
• Stage casegoods in staging area for counts.
• Handle furniture with care during unpacking.
• Move furniture around the finishing warehouse.
• Report safety hazards to supervisor and follow lifting techniques.
• Maintain neat and orderly workstation.
• Wear safety glasses and appropriate footwear; work safely.
• Perform daily stretching exercises.
• Perform other duties as required by supervisor.
