Job summary

Fujitec America is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee branch service operations, ensuring safety, scheduling, and timely performance of elevator installations, repairs, and modernization projects.

The role requires coordinating with mechanics, supervisors, customers, and vendors to maintain high customer satisfaction while meeting financial, safety, and compliance goals. Strong leadership, communication, and planning skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Leadership and management of branch service operations.
• Ability to monitor budgets, costs and revenue recognition.
• Strong communication with field staff, contractors, and customers.
• Experience coordinating elevators installations, repairs, and modernization projects.
• Knowledge of safety programs and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Administer safety program and audits.
• Plan and direct elevator installations, service/repairs, and labor needs using scheduling tools.
• Manage staff, schedules, and payroll approvals.
• Monitor vehicle use and allocate resources efficiently.
• Review bids, change orders, and purchase orders with technical input.
• Maintain knowledge of elevator codes and company SOPs.
• Resolve customer issues and coordinate with agents, contractors, and management.
• Coordinate material orders and subcontracting for installations and service.
• Manage budget and spend; obtain permits and inspections as required.
• Communicate weekly with field staff and visit sites to track progress and safety.
