Otis Elevator Company in Nashville, TN is seeking a New Equipment Project Manager to coordinate multiple new equipment installation projects. You will ensure on-time, on-budget delivery while adhering to safety and quality standards, and you will collaborate with sales, field ops, owners, and regulators to meet contract requirements.

The role requires 3+ years in elevator project management or construction, with strong leadership, communication, and cost-control abilities to drive successful

Qualifications

• 3+ years related elevator project management and/or construction experience.
• Experience in elevator/escalator industry is preferred.
• Familiarity with cost estimating, scheduling, and contract administration.
• Ability to read and review architectural and structural drawings.
• Team-oriented and adaptable in dynamic settings.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for developing relationships with stakeholders.
• Self-motivated, capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficient in Microsoft software within technical environments.
• Strong leadership, time management, and organizational skills.
• High school diploma
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, construction management or business administration preferred or relevant experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure flawless execution of each project by meeting schedules and budgets.
• Deliver first-in-class customer service and adhere to Otis Absolutes.
• Coordinate contract activities from award to handover and close.
• Work with sales and field operations to match scope and documents.
• Provide regular progress updates to leadership.
• Communicate with general contractors, owners, and authorities.
• Manage billing, payments, RFIs, and change orders.
• Read and review architectural/structural drawings.
• Analyze situations and develop contingencies for estimates.
