Job summary

Otis Elevator Company is seeking a highly motivated New Equipment Project Manager to oversee coordination of activities on multiple installation projects in Las Vegas, NV. The role focuses on on-time delivery, budget control, safety standards, and customer satisfaction.

You will collaborate with clients, architects, and internal teams, manage contract administration, and optimize change orders to protect project cash flow.

Qualifications

• 5+ years elevator industry project management and/or construction experience.
• Familiarity with cost estimating, scheduling, and contract administration.
• Ability to read and review architectural and structural drawings.
• Team-oriented and adaptable in dynamic settings.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for developing relationships with stakeholders.
• Self-motivated, capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficient in Microsoft software within technical environments.
• Strong leadership, time management, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure flawless execution of each project by completing on schedule, within budget, and meeting all technical & safety standards, regulatory compliance requirements, and customer expectations.
• Coordinate all contract activities from the project award stage to completion and provide a progress review to ensure documents align with scope.
• Communicate with client representatives, general contractors, owners, building managers, architects and designers, authorities, and agencies about project design, preparations, and scheduling.
• Work with internal sales staff, superintendents, and leadership to ensure project success from financial and customer perspectives.
• Manage billing, payments to consultants/contractors, RFIs and change orders, and maximize project cash coverage.
• Interpret construction documents and contract modifications to determine cost of changes.
• Analyze situations and help develop contingencies for estimates.
