Job summary

Elevated Facility Services Group is seeking skilled elevator technicians in Pensacola, FL to perform complete modernizations and repairs on hydraulic and traction elevators, including controllers, door equipment, hoist machines, and related components.

Responsibilities include professional modernization work, safety inspections per OSHA, annual safety device tests, and evaluating equipment for upgrades. On-call availability may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Certified Elevator Technician degree or Elevator Mechanic License required.
• Knowledge and skill in the use of hand and electrical tools such as grinders, drill motors and coring machines.
• Knowledge and skill in the use of electrical reading and testing equipment, hoisting and rigging equipment, chain tackles, etc.

Responsibilities

• Complete modernizations and repairs in a professional and profitable manner.
• Conduct repairs, modernizations and inspections of elevators and related devices to ensure safety and OSHA compliance.
• Perform annual tests to ensure proper operation of safety devices during final inspections.
• Assess suitability of existing equipment, propose modifications and new equipment.
• Perform other related duties as needed.
