Job summary
Elevated Facility Services is seeking an experienced elevator technician to perform complete modernizations and repairs for hydraulic and traction elevators, including installing microprocessor controllers, door equipment, pumping units, hoist machines, wiring, fixtures, hoist ropes, and packing components.
Responsibilities include completing modernization projects professionally, inspecting devices to OSHA standards, and conducting annual safety tests.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Certified Elevator Technician degree or Elevator Mechanic license required.
- Experience with electrical tools and measurement equipment.
Responsibilities
- Complete modernizations and repairs professionally and profitably.
- Repair, modernize, and inspect elevators and related devices per safety regs and OSHA requirements.
- Perform annual tests to ensure safety devices operate correctly during inspections.
- Assess suitability of existing equipment and proposed modifications.
- Perform other related duties as needed; not an exhaustive list.
