Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Certified Elevator Technician degree or Elevator Mechanic License required.
• Experience with hand and electrical tools and electrical testing equipment.
• Must be able to lift 50+ pounds and work from ladders/scaffolding.

Responsibilities

• Successfully complete modernizations and repairs in a professional and profitable manner.
• Conducts repair, modernizations and inspections of elevators and related devices to ensure safe operation and OSHA compliance.
• Performs annual tests to ensure proper operation of safety devices during final inspections.
• Assists in determining suitability of present elevator equipment and proposed modifications.
• Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein. Not exhaustive.
