Job summary

Elevated Facility Services Group seeks skilled elevator technicians to assist in modernizations and repairs of hydraulic and traction elevators. You will work on controllers, door gear, pumping units, hoist machines, wiring, and related components to ensure safe, compliant operation.

The role requires hands-on skills with electrical tools, reading/testing equipment, and hoisting/rigging gear, with on-call availability for emergencies and adherence to OSHA standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Certified Elevator Technician degree or Elevator Mechanic License (preferred).
• Knowledge and skill in using hand and electrical tools (grinders, drill motors, coring machines).
• Knowledge and skill with electrical reading/testing equipment, hoisting and rigging equipment, chain tackles, etc.

Responsibilities

• Successfully complete modernizations and repairs in a professional and profitable manner.
• Conduct repairs, modernizations and inspections of elevators and related devices to ensure safe operation and OSHA compliance.
• Perform annual tests to ensure the proper operation of safety devices during final inspections.
• Assist in determining the suitability of existing equipment and proposed modifications or new equipment.
• Perform other related duties incidental to the described work (not exhaustive).
