Job summary

Lift Works Elevator is seeking a skilled Elevator Mechanic to perform complete modernizations and repairs on hydraulic and traction elevators, including installing controllers, door equipment, and hoist components. The role requires adherence to safety standards and on-site execution in New Mexico.

Responsibilities include inspections, annual safety tests, and evaluating equipment for modifications, with on-call availability. Competitive pay and benefits are offered for experienced technicians.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Certified Elevator Technician degree or Elevator Mechanic License.
• Knowledge and skill in using hand and electrical tools.
• Knowledge and skill in electrical reading/testing equipment and hoisting/rigging.

Responsibilities

• Complete modernizations and repairs in a professional and profitable manner.
• Inspect elevators and related devices to ensure safe operation and OSHA compliance.
• Perform annual tests to verify safety devices during final inspections.
• Assist in evaluating present equipment and proposed modifications.
• Perform other duties incidental to the work described herein.
