Job summary

Schindler Group is looking for a Field Operations Manager in San Francisco to manage field technicians and oversee the installation of elevator modernizations. The ideal candidate will have a preferred bachelor’s degree or three years of technical experience in the elevator industry and experience in supervising a unionized workforce. This role offers a competitive salary range of $113,400 to $141,700 along with a comprehensive benefits package including a 401k match and medical plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or 3 years of technical experience in the elevator industry.
• Experience in installation and service of elevators/escalators preferred.
• Prior supervisory experience with a unionized workforce preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage field technicians for elevator modernizations.
• Assure that each project meets quality and safety standards.
• Support local sales in estimating modernization bids.
